The bit about me:
My name is Michele McCulley. I am a Psychosexual and Relationship therapist.
I spent my first working years doing a degree in Business, and working in television and advertising in South Africa. My last job in this field was as Group Account Director at Ogilvy and Mather and then as Account Director for Barclays Bank in the UK. My primary interest for this choice of work was a fascination with consumer and buyer behaviour – which was the basis of continuing my studies in Psychology.
Apart from my marketing credentials, I have degrees in Psychology, and Psychosexual Therapy. I am a member of British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the College of Sex and Relationship Therapists (COSRT). I currently work as an accredited Relate therapist and have done so for about 8 years. I am a also a regular speaker on BBC Radio Nottingham, where I cover and comment on many relationship and sexual issues. I also have a private practice in Nottingham and in London. My therapeutic approach is integrative, although I use the cognitive behavioural model as the basis of that integration.
